Jill Richards
I have been in the fitness industry for 33 years. I have been a personal trainer for 30 years as well as a class instructor. I had a dream of owning my own gym, one day, 11 years ago that dream came true. I opened Stand Strong Fitness Center, a 24/7 access gym that includes a variety of classes, weekly, a nutrition club, located in the gym, a sauna, and so much more! I pride myself in helping others to reach their fitness goals, and become the very best they can be!

Zadie Curry
Zadie began teaching fitness classes as a way to stay in shape throughout her college career. She is ACE and NETA certified in group
fitness and indoor cycling, and has a passion for teaching Spin! Zadie has taught weightlifting, HIIT, and Tabata style classes, but her true love is Spin. She first experienced Spin classes with her grandfather, and that created a fondness for the bike that she simply can't shake.
Spin classes are a fantastic place to connect with others and WORK! Many people worry that Spin classes are too intense for beginners, but Zadie strives to meet every participant where they are, and she works along with them and encourages them throughout the class.

Mykei
Hi, I’m Mykei. My career brought me to Altus in 2015. I have always been in and out of the gym and keeping active. It was the summer of 2015 when I called over to what was then the “Athletic Loft” and I joined. It was there I discovered Zumba. I feel in love and never looked back. I was a certified the following spring and began instructing. The thing that hooked me to Zumba was it didn’t feel like exercise and beyond that I looked forward to going. I want to share that same energy and feeling with everyone. My wish is to foster a class environment that students look forward to coming to.

Zumba Trainer
I was born and raised in Altus. I always struggled to stay physically active and couldn't ever find a sport or activity that worked for me. I discovered Zumba in 2010 while attending college in Stillwater. When I started I was the shy and quiet person in the very back of the class. I continued attending classes after I moved back home to Altus. Eventually, I gained more confidence and slowly found myself moving closer to the front. Then one day my instructor brought up the idea of me becoming an instructor. At first, I sort of laughed it off as being totally unrealistic. Then one day she told me "get up and lead" I did, and I was hooked. Now it is my passion to make class as fun for others as it has always been for me. My goal is for students to have a class that they don't have to drag themselves to the gym for, but look forward to coming to and having fun.

Blake Richards
I received my personal training certification in 2013. I struggled with weight gain for many years due to drinking a ridiculous amount of Dr. Pepper! The year before I received my certification, I got into the gym, I got serious, made lots of nutrition changes and dropped 20 pounds and gained 10 pounds in muscle! I became a believer in proper nutrition and serious strength training! I knew this was an experience I wanted to share with others, and help them to see the same changes in their lives!
